An internal information channel:
The Assembly is currently compiling the Encyclopedia of Parliamentary Life Since 1866 to facilitate access to this information by members and staff. The Assembly, its specific committees and General Secretariat were connected to the Internet, and a website for the People's Assembly entitled (www.parliament.gov.eg)was created in Arabic, English and French, and it is regularly updated. Moreover, a Media Center equipped with satellite reception was established to receive information from different channels and classify them to assist in decision making through a central information channel displayed in various sites inside the Assembly. The information center managed to contact databases and information sources in various countries of the world.
